Angels and Enochian
According to the system of Enochian Magic the language of the angels is Enochian.
Angels as a modern symbolism
When summoning spirits of concepts for help it is possible to summon them in an angel Aspect. When summoned in this way they tend to seek to aid because it is in their nature rather than through bargaining or coercion. However they are also often proud and may insist on the summoner's purity, or try to hold the summoner to their own ethical systems. This is more often true of summoned warriors. An example would be summoning the angel of transport to seek aid in making a long journey without misshap, or the angel of plumbing to help with a leaky pipe.
Angels and Christianity
Christianity is the source of the most widespread modern beliefs about angels, which is not to say that all Christianity has ever agreed about them. Some see them as an eternally discrete order of God's creation superior to humans and others see them as something humans can aspire to become after death (such as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which teaches that its Book of Mormon was translated from gold plates revealed by the Angel Moroni, who in mortality had been the son of Mormon who inscribed the plates.Statues of Moroni crown most LDS temples).
Reputedly it was an issue of much contention whether fourteen or fifteen angels could dance on the head of a pin...if one assumed different styles of pinhead or human-sized angels this question would become even more meaningless.
There are tales of "guardian angels" that have persisted into modern entertainment such as the television program Touched by an Angel.
"Authorities" disagree on the relative rank of the orders of angels believed to exist, though "angels" proper are said to be the lowest,"archangels" immediately above (unlike the great archangels of Judaism -- Gabriel,Raphael,Michael, sometimes Uriel, and occasionally three more). The higher orders are Cherubim,Seraphim,Thrones,Dominations,Principalities,Powers, and Virtues but even these names sometimes vary.
For all the ranks of angels there are declared to be mirroring ranks of demons.
