Kitchen Witchcraft is a slang phrase indicating the use of items conventionally found in the home (usually the kitchen or pantry) to perform magic, spells, or make charms or amulets, and generally to engage witchcraft. It combines the the elements of natural magic (which are primarily the use of herbs, roots, and other objects found in the natural world) with a modified working environ of the place where food is prepared (inclusive of knives and brooms, at least, as well as the vast spellcrafting possibilities of herb magic using items from the pantry).
