Reuben Swinburne Clymer (November 25,1878-June 3,1966) was Supreme Grand Master of the Fraternitas Rosae Crucis and a co-founder of FUDOFSI.He was also a medical doctor.
He claimed that the FRC was the legitimate Rosicrucian fraternity dating to the year 1614 and that all unaffiliated groups were impostors,dating his own establishment to the efforts of Paschal Beverly Randolph.Others have cast doubt on his organization having any legitimate history prior to about 1920.
On his death his son Emerson Myron Clymer (1909-1983) succeeded him.
