Talk:Lughnasadh
From SourceryForge
"Lammas" comes from the Saxon words for Loaf-Mass,and refers to the Christian rite imposed to replace the pagan one (taking a loaf of bread to church to be blessed by the priest). While "Lughnasadh" is named for the god Lugh,"Lammas" isn't.Why is the article (and template link from "pagan festivals") at the Christian name?--Louis E./le@put.com/12.144.5.2 02:03, 19 October 2006 (BST)
- No idea. I can move it if you want to. Also, the pagan festivals template should display both names Eusebia 14:00, 1 November 2006 (GMT)
- Please do...then I can rewrite to fit the proper name.--Louis E./le@put.com/12.144.5.2 01:40, 10 November 2006 (GMT)
