This is the first artical I've ever written so feedback would be greatly appreciated. Honesty is hoped for.

Hi Psykobolik,
First, welcome here! I hope you like this place and have fun.

Sorry if i sound harsh, but you asked for it :)) . Usually we don't write articles in first person, exept when someone is recounting a specific, unique experience, but we're not really strict about that. But your signature doesn't really belong into the article. it will be visible in the article history anyway, and you can always leave it on the talk page if you feel that isn't enough. Also, it would be nice to have some section titles, and wikilinks to other pages. I'll do that on the article so that you see how to. Please read Sourceryforge:Contribute, although that page is not quite what it should be. But the content and overall style of your article are fine.

BTW, life is strange. This christmas my sister somewhat introduced me to crystal magick, via a gorgeous present. I also got another stone for myself and found that it actually works, although i never really believed that material things such as minerals can have inherent magickal powers, or be more useful for charging than other arbitrary things. Then, we got lots of articles about different stones here, and then your nice introduction. Seems the universe wants to tell me something LOL. 84.252.69.131 22:01, 18 Jan 2006 (GMT)

  • Elseware here, can't be arsed to log in, know me by my prose style... I think that the first person can be useful for describing subjective things, but maybe it should be included in the manner of a verbatum quotation, even if it's from yourself, and you actually wrote the entire article. The thing about the first person prose is that it's very hard for someone to modify and improve it. In much the same way that if someone quoted a book, you'd not correct the grammer in that text as it's not appropriate. Maybe we could have a template for quotations and one for subjective stuff?
