I could swear that I've been and stood and looked on this spot. It is on the path under the wintergardens in Ventnor, Isle of Wight, facing South-West. just in the wiggle above the esplinade
The man in the picture scerenely contemplates the world, safe with his staff and wall, he enjoys the view while his mind is on higher things.
A friend of mine looked at this card and said "he's preparing to throw the world into the ocean."
Why does he hold one wand while the other is bolted to the wall, I wonder.
-> The wand in his hand represents the energy he has at his disposal, while the one bolted to the wall represents the energy he has invested in his situation. He is secure enough to be able to risk something. He has the globe in his hand as he has grand plans, he's sent off a fleet of ships which we also see in the three of wands.
